Hmong Goes Mainstream Part 1

For a nationality that have no country of their own, we or shall we say our art and clothing have come a long way.  I was quite surprised to see that one of my favorite designer, BCBG, was making Hmong Clothes.  I began searching to see if anyone else have taken our clothing into the fashion world and was quite shock to see a European Designer (Vietnamese) use our Hmong skirts to create clothing that are being sold faster than she can make them.  The sad thing is that both of these designers are charging in the upwards of $800 to $1,200 for each piece.

It it my hope that our Hmong people will see these and go forth to use our own Pa Dau to create some awesome and modern clothing.

This is the European designer THU THU.  She is the Asian girl in the lower right corner.
