This color green makes me happy... Kat's happy green.

Have I mentioned that I love the color green? lol. Well, I do. Hahahaha

A friend of mine is a screen writer and they were holding auditions, so I went along. I wasn't sure what the dress code was, so I decided on this. I love this outfit. I love how it looks on me, how it makes me feel, and ... it's green! I decided to line both top and bottom lash line green. I used about three different color green. And black liner closer to the lash line to balance it out... and then lots of mascara. I layered two different mascara... and two different lipstick.

I felt absolutely amazing in this outfit. I know, it's a matter of opinion. And you can really see my hair color in the second picture.

Minty Green Denim Jacket with BCBG Lace Dress

I love lace dresses, but they are more formal, so I have to get creative and find ways to dress them down. For this, nothing works better than denim jackets. I love this minty one, bought from JC Penny. The dress is by BCBG. The black tank is from Tahari. The shoes are Ninewest.

With purple smokey eye make up and neutral pink lipstick (two different colors so as not to wash me out).

Olive Leather Jacket

This is one of my favorite leather jacket.  I like the color and the styling as well as the fit.  It is perfect.  This is something that I put together for a social function.

Here is a close up look at the jacket.  The color in the jacket is beautiful.

Here is another olive green leather jacket.  This one is by Teri Jon.  I love the fit of this one as well.  It is in the style of a shorten trench.

Here are some more ideas on how to create an outfit with the olive leather jacket.  Enjoy!

Cool and Casual Camouflage

I love the cool casualness that camouflage gives to an outfit.  Here is Kim wearing a pair of olive pants with a cream leather jacket.  There is just something about leather jacket that is so enticing.

Here is another look with a navy blue blazer.

I really like the silk/ satiny look of these olive pants.  It is the perfect combination of masculine and feminine.  Although I love dressing like a woman, I can't do all girly girl, so I like a touch of manliness in my ensembles.

I love this woman's style.  So cool and chic, yet still so stylish and professional looking.

Here is my take on this look.  I love the pretty color of hot pink with olive skinny pants.

1.  Nicola Berti Hot Pink Leather Jacket.  I love love love this jacket and this designer.  He was a soccer player, turned designer.

2.  Olive pants from TJ Maxx.

3.  Stripe shirt from Sears.

4.  BORN pink heel sandals.

5.  Pink Multi Silk and Cashmere Scarf.

Here is the closeup on the jacket and scarf.

This one is such a fun look.  Love the shoes and the hat.

Transforming the Little Lace Dress

Here, I am wearing the BCBG Lace dress with pink metallic skinny jeans and a leather jacket.  This works well for winter layering.  Although this is a bit more casual and invokes a sense of fun, I would still wear this to a church function or to spending the day with some good friends.

Toughen Up the Little Lace Skirt (Dress)

I have two guilty pleasures when it comes to clothes.  Lace and Leather.  If I see something I like in either lace or leather, I feel like I must have it.  Although I know very well that it is only a want, to me, it feels like a need.

So, if I am going to buy so many, I have to learn how to make them work for more than one type of functions.  Here, I tried to make it more casual.  In the first picture, I am wearing it with a black anorak jacket.  And then I pair it up with on an olive cargo shirt and some boots.  This is probably something I would wear if I was meeting up with friends for a girls' night out.

2.  Black Michael Kors Jacket
3.  BORN Black Leather Boots
4.  Claire Military Inspired Necklace

I wanted the outfit to be a little fun, so I added some heavy duty jewelry.  It all seems a bit much to me, but I think that I would definitely enjoy wearing this if I am just hanging out with friends.
